Farm to Fortune Sell Crops: Market Stall and Contract Guide

How to farm to fortune sell crops for maximum coins. Market stall prices by tier, contract truck multipliers, and exactly when to sell or store your harvest.

Quick Answer

Sell low-tier crops (grass, carrot, strawberry) at the market stall immediately. Hold mid-tier crops (tomato, sweetcorn) for contract trucks that pay 1.5x. In the late game, dump pumpkin and watermelon at the stall for the biggest single payouts — a full session can exceed 240,000 coins.

How the market stall works

The market stall is your primary selling point. It shows the base price for each stored crop. You can sell individual items or sell in bulk. Prices are fixed per crop tier — there is no dynamic pricing or haggling. The stall accepts any stored crop at any time.

Real market prices from the game

A late-game screenshot from the actual game shows these sale values in a single session:

  • Pumpkin: 156,042 coins
  • Eggplant: 51,359 coins
  • Sweetcorn: 32,433 coins
  • Strawberry: 1,836 coins

The spread between strawberry (1,836) and pumpkin (156,042) is roughly 85x. This is why crop tier matters more than volume in the late game.

How contract trucks pay more

The contract truck posts a three-row order with a coin payout and bonus multiplier. Common multipliers are 2x XP and 1.5x price. If the contract asks for crops you already have stored, delivering them earns more than selling at the stall.

For example, a contract asking for Onion 6, Strawberry 12, Grass 19 with a 1.5x price bonus pays more than the stall base price for those same items. A single mid-game completed contract pays around 2,436 coins.

When to sell vs hold

  • Sell at the stall: low-tier crops you won't need for contracts. Grass and carrot grow fast and lose nothing by selling immediately.
  • Hold for contracts: mid-tier crops like tomato and sweetcorn. Check the truck every morning before selling.
  • Bulk dump: in the late game, sell everything after each harvest cycle. Storage has no strategic value if you already have enough coins for the next expansion.

Weekly selling rhythm

  • Monday–Friday: check the contract truck first, sell surplus at the stall
  • Saturday–Sunday: weekend market has the highest foot traffic; sell everything you can
  • After each harvest cycle: don't let storage fill up — uncollected crops from the combine auto-store but take up space

Key rule

Always check the contract truck before the market stall. If the truck asks for what you have, deliver it first. Sell the rest at the stall. This simple habit compounds into tens of thousands of extra coins over a full playthrough.
